This past week as very cold weather crept in upon us, my thoughts were exceedingly simple: STAY WARM! I was taken by how thankful my heart was for EVERY warm thing. My boots, my coat, my scarves, my gloves, my blanket on the bed, my extra blankets on the chair, heat at home, heat in my car, heat at work. You get the picture. It was such a rich reminder of God’s blessing and how He truly meets our needs. I was also struck by how unimportant so many things seemed during those days. One bout of cold weather helped me reorganize my priorities and remember to be thankful for all things. God is glorified when we are thankful for all His tender care.
